The Wheels are official BSA lightly machined. They are polished and prepped with a proprietary blend of racing wax and finished with a high performance racing graphite.
These wheels are straight from the official BSA Cub Scout derby kit. The wheel is delicately placed on a micro machine lathe. Spinning at 2,000 RPM, the tread is shaved down to rid the wheel of imperfections. The outside diameter is greater than 1.170.” Each wheel is checked by a machinist digital caliper to the verify the diameter is within legal range. No alterations have been made to the outer hub or inside of the wheel. All factory lettering is left untouched and the fluting/knobs still remain and is highly visible.
